OUR STORY
The Treehouse started as an idea born from the demands of a growing family. Initially the site was set up as a tent pad for relatives and friends visiting at the Lake. We had no specific plans as we moved along but one day, the idea came to build a cabin on this part of our property for the benefit of our inner circle.
The first phase was to build a concrete base for the future cabin. All the building materials had to be barged in and unloaded by hand. While working arduously on mixing and pouring the primary cement slab, the saying “In for a penny, in for a pound” came to mind and our focus shifted to offering this beautiful location to everyone.
We get such a feeling of peace and beauty from our property that withholding it for the exclusive use of family and closest friends, would not do it full justice. The Treehouse had to be shared with travelers, adventurers and the local community alike.
We are proud and pleased to offer you the Treehouse, which was completed in February of 2016. All the interior cedar finishing was milled from a local family heritage property. The log cabin structure was pre-fabricated in nearby Popkum BC and then barged to the property.
Our Treehouse is truly a unique labor of love which we are please to share with you.

The Tree House
The Treehouse on Harrison Lake is a boat access location. There are no roads or vehicle access points. The property is off-grid and therefore, principal utilities are managed by a combination of eco-friendly solar power, propane appliances and a back-up generator. The accommodation has a fully stocked kitchen and a cast iron fire place. A few foot steps takes you to the deck with an amazing view of Harrison Lake. You can then relax in the private soaker tub after a day of hiking, canoeing or whatever activities you enjoy.

My husband and I stayed at the Treehouse 5 nights for our 10th anniversary and loved every minute of it !!! The cabin had everything we needed to make ourselves gourmet meals, relax and have fun on the water !! Kayaking, fishing and so much more !! Coleen was so hospitable making sure we had everything we needed. I can't wait till we go back again !!
We stayed here for our pre wedding weekend getaway and it was the perfect place! Super relaxing, everything you need was there and the hosts were awesome. Highly recommended to any couple looking for a relaxing weekend getaway we will definitely be back.
